Rebecca RiversDirector
Rebecca is a proud urban Algonquin Ikwe living in Toronto – the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. She works as a Communications & Public Relations Manager at Dnaagdawenmag Binnoojiiyag Child & Family Services – an Indigenous Child Well-Being Agency providing a holistic, inclusive and non-judgmental circle of care for Indigenous children, youth, their families, communities and Nations. A large part of her role includes fostering good, strong relationships with our eight (8) member First Nations.
Rebecca is an active volunteer; she is a member of the fundraising committee at Anduhyaun – an Indigenous women’s shelter in Toronto. She is committed to serving and honouring our people in the best way that she can. Rebecca is on her own personal journey, finding her place in creation and reconnecting with culture and ceremony to ensure she walks that good life, mino bimaadiziwin. When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find her at a spin class or at home with her partner, Dillon and their animals.
