Claudine is a proud member of Sheguiandah First Nation located on the traditional territory of the Odawa, the Potawatomie, and Ojibwe, located on the lands of two treaties. Claudine is a partner and a mother of three teenage and young adults. She now resides on the land of the Williams Treaty.

Claudine is a Professor, Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist who has been practicing for 25 years. Claudine has a master’s degree in social work. Claudine teaches in the social service field and is Founder of a thriving private practice. Claudine’s work experience has been diverse, including Indigenous specific services, the unhoused, children services, VAW and the Education sector.

In her spare time, Claudine likes to surround herself with family and friends. You may find her on the water kayaking with her two sisters or on the bike paths with her spouse. Enjoying the Arts is also a pastime that brings great pleasure.

Claudine has been a member of the Executive since 2018 and began her term as President in November 2021. It is with gratitude and humility that Claudine has accepted this position.
