Isabelle Brown
Isabelle BrownDirector
Isabelle Brown is a daughter, sister, partner, and community member. They are proud of their mixed Sto:lo – settler heritage, and grew up far from their community’s traditional territory along the Fraser River on the Northwest of Turtle Island. They are humbled to have been accepted by the Tkaronto community, and worked for many years as a Case Worker and Facilitator for Giiwedin Anang program through Aboriginal Legal Services. They continue to be committed to this work and volunteer as a council member for circles within and for our community.

Isabelle continues to advocate for the advancement of and investment in Indigenous people across industries, particularly in tech. Isabelle has previously served as the Canadian lead for the Global Indigenous and Aboriginal Employee Network at Activision. They are continuing on their own journey, with the support and guidance of community, making more trips home to the West Coast, and identifying the gifts that they have to serve those around them. Isabelle looks forward to continuing this work and is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Board Director.
