Writing Skills Workshop
Tuesdays: 3:30-5:00pm

If you’re interested in learning how to write and read at a Grade 12 level in preparation for your high school diploma, GED, or post secondary, this workshop is for you. By learning the basics in grammar, essay writing, and reading, you will be more prepared to complete homework assignments in any area of study you choose.

Shopping Math Workshop
Tuesdays: 5:00-6:30pm
September 10th to November 26th
Come learn some tips and tricks to shop better on a budget using math. We will cover basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as a means of helping you spend less and save more when shopping for groceries and other items.
Dinner will be served at 5:00pm. Tokens will be provided. Please keep in mind that this class is filling up fast, so missing the first class or more than 3 classes throughout this twelve-week semester may mean your spot is given to someone else on the waiting list.

Anishnaabemowin
Thursdays: 5:00-8:00pm
September 12th to November 28th
Come learn Anishnaabemowin and receive cultural teachings from John Roy, an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper who will bring you closer to the land and strengthen your cultural roots through the language. Note: This class is for all levels of Anishnaabemowin speakers.
