    The Nbaakaawin Kwe (Wisdom Woman) Education Centre is offering a new computer lab. Participants can pick from a number of online classes, including: G1 Drivers Test Prep, Money Matters, Customer Service, Mindfulness, and much more! You can work independently on your course or with tutor support.  This series welcomes Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women who are interested in learning Anishinaabemowin.

    The 10-day Ozhige Workshop (She who builds a dwelling) is an in-depth workshop that will cover topics from learning how to search for market rentals to understanding tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities. There will be an arts and crafts component as well; clients will be able to make a dreamcatcher to display in their homes. Participants will end the 10-day workshop by learning how to Spiritually Cleanse their spaces. This workshop will run for two half days a week from Monday, February 25 – Wednesday, March 27. Spaces are limited!

    Participants will explore different creative songwriting exercises and technology. Closing with a group percussion-jam featuring indigenous Filipino Kulintang gongs facilitated by members of Pantayo an all women Kulintang collective. This series welcomes Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women.

Participants can pick from a number of online classes, including: G1 Drivers Test Prep, Money Matters, Customer Service, Mindfulness, and much more! You can work independently on your course or with tutor support.  This series welcomes Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women who are interested in learning Anishinaabemowin.

      The 10-day Ozhige Workshop (She who builds a dwelling) is an in-depth workshop that will cover topics from learning how to search for market rentals to understanding tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities. There will be an arts and crafts component as well; clients will be able to make a dreamcatcher to display in their homes. Participants will end the 10-day workshop by learning how to Spiritually Cleanse their spaces. This workshop will run for two half days a week from Monday, February 25 – Wednesday, March 27. Spaces are limited!

    Liberty Moves is a trauma-informed strength training program that takes a holistic, culture-based approach to cardiovascular and weight training. It is a program for reconnecting with our bodies and spirits in a grounded and loving way. Each session has both physical and mental/spiritual/emotional components as we move our bodies and also sit with one another to learn about and discuss our journeys back into relationships with ourselves.
