Diabetes is one of the highest percentage of illness among indigenous peoples in Canada. We
are providing clients with the resources to help them prevent, education or maintain diabetes
through nutrition workshops, demos, discussions and fitness exercises.
Drop-In (Personal Needs Support Program) is accessible two days/week Tuesdays 10am-12:15pm and Thursdays 1:30pm-3:45pm on a first come first serve basis – Limited to one visit per client per week.

NWA Prep Class

If you’re interested in taking our NWA classes starting September 10th, come learn some tips and tricks to be as prepared as possible for academic life. This prep class is meant to make you feel comfortable, calm, and collected on your learning journey, plus will provide you with a resources list and guide to gaining a greater education.

Drum CircleNative Women's Resource Centre, Gerrard Street East, Toronto, ON, Canada
Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Drumming starts at 6 p.m. and runs till 8 p.m. Open to all self-identifying women and two spirit (Indigenous and non-Indigenous). No experience needed. Tokens provided.
