One-on-One Tutoring

1-on-1 Tutoring
(by appointment only)
Nbaakaawin Kwe Education Centre offers one-on-one tutoring to Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women. Learners ages sixteen and older, are paired with a tutor to improve on subjects such as: math, English, computer skills, and life skills. This is wonderful opportunity for those interested in returning to school, increasing their independence, or gaining job readiness skills. One-on-one tutoring appointments are available throughout the week depending on tutor availability.

The Nbaakaawin Kwe (Wisdom Woman) Education Centre is offering a financial literacy series. We welcome Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women who are interested in learning about budgeting, banking, and money management.

Anishinaabemowin Language Classes (Part 1)

The Nbaakaawin Kwe (Wisdom Woman) Education Centre is offering a Anishinaabemowin series. This series welcomes Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Inuit, Metis) self-identifying women who are interested in learning Anishinaabemowin. Language keeper John Roy is the leading the group. Classes are broken up into two parts: Part I – November23-December 6, Part II-January 15- February 7)
